Before I even started my photography business and the wild journey it was going to take me on, I KNEW I wanted to accomplish 2 key things if I was going to go down this road:

  1. Take gorgeous photos that my clients will treasure and I am proud of

  2. Form a lasting, meaningful bond to my clients

When I send out a gallery and my clients rave about how much they love their photos and how they cannot wait to print them off to display in their home - I am over the moon thrilled! All the practice and hard work I put in behind the camera was paying off! The images captured for them will be admired and treasured for years to come.

However, when a client messages me about how much they loved the EXPERIENCE of shooting with me and how they want to schedule me again - I about fall over. To me, this is the best compliment that they could possibly give!

A couple of months ago I had the lovely opportunity to take Spencer’s senior photos - we had a bunch of laughs, we ran around my hometown and took some pretty rad photos. (See the blog post for his Senior photos here!) It was so much dang fun!

So when Spencer’s momma Melissa messaged me AGAIN saying that she would love to hire me to take photos of her whole clan - I was SO PUMPED!

This family was nothing less than a total delight to photograph. Every single one of them are naturals in front of the camera! The kids were more than happy to oblige my goofy requests to get them to smile and hug, and by the end of the session even they were requesting certain shots to be taken because they were having so much fun! All these sweet redheads were coordinated perfectly in buffalo plaids and flannels, and basically looked like they could be a Target ad!

Keep an eye out for a continuation of this family’s saga of sessions with me - we weren’t finished even after this session! But for now, enjoy this completely adorable family and some of my favorite photos from their shoot!
